Yesterday, interested residents of Pölbitz met again for the second neighborhood meeting in the club room of the “Neue Welt” concert and ballroom.

After the welcome, the first item on the agenda was to evaluate the first neighborhood event, the “coffee klatch.” The response to this event was still muted—all those involved would have liked to see more participants. Nevertheless, one thing is certain: the coffee klatch will be offered again in November! Once again, there will be delicious homemade cake and one, two, …ten cups of coffee to go with it. Make a note of the new date: November 20, 2025, at the clubhouse of the “Hermann Duncker” allotment garden, from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The second big topic of the evening was cause for excitement: Pölbitz is getting its own small neighborhood Christmas market this year! Everyone quickly agreed that this highlight absolutely must take place. So, on December 13 from 2 to 6 p.m., welcome to the mini Christmas market at Neue Welt! There was intense discussion about which stands and offerings could make the neighborhood’s first Christmas market as appealing as possible.

Now it’s time to put it into action! Of course, many helping hands are still needed in a wide variety of areas. Join in and play an active role in shaping Pölbitz!
